As you know, the past few months have been extremely difficult for many businesses, especially restaurants and workers in this industry. Despite it all, we try to keep our spirits up and find solutions—one of which is, of course, supporting our local restaurateurs by continuing to order meals and giving them a chance to stay afloat during this much-dreaded second wave.
That’s why Rachel Julien decided to hit two birds with one stone by offering all employees three lunches from a local restaurant near our workplaces. This initiative contributes to the survival of these businesses while also thanking each of our employees, not only for their excellent work but also for their team spirit. In total, 103 meals were ordered from 8 restaurants in 3 different boroughs.
In the same spirit and to continue the tradition of the annual Rachel Julien Christmas Party, our employees, along with their families, gathered virtually to share a three-course meal from Chez Victoire. Though unusual, this evening allowed us to once again thank our employees while supporting a Montreal restaurateur, with a total of 53 meals ordered.
