SCHL Station C

Last month, a press conference organized by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) was held on the site of Station C, our brand-new rental project located in NDG. The event aimed to highlight the Government of Canada’s support for the development of affordable housing in Montreal.

The announcement was made by the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage, Anna Gainey, MP for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce–Westmount, and Emmanuel Dubourg, MP for Bourassa.

Thanks to the Rapid Housing Initiative (RHI) program, Station C will receive financial support that will directly contribute to the creation of 288 housing units, a significant portion of which will be affordable — an essential contribution to strengthening social diversity in this part of the city.

As Mélanie Robitaille, Vice President and General Manager at Rachel Julien, expressed:
“We are proud to contribute to the creation of nearly 300 new housing units in Côte-des-Neiges, in addition to the 200 units we are currently building in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. The Station C project, made possible through CMHC’s Apartment Construction Loan Program, is a great example of what can be achieved when public and private forces come together to address the urgent need for rental housing in the city. At Rachel Julien, we strongly believe that building quality rental housing plays a key role in developing more inclusive cities.”

Station C is a human-scale project designed to promote diversity and collective well-being. It includes thoughtfully designed shared spaces — such as a rooftop terrace, lounge areas, co-working space, and fitness room — all intended to foster community among residents. Its strategic location, close to active transportation options, helps support an accessible and sustainable lifestyle.

We are proud to help build a more equitable city — one unit at a time.
